The Full-Day Yukon tour begins in Skagway and sweeps northward into the Yukon Territory. The town of Skagway, surrounded by staggering mountains, is rich with the unbelievable stories of the heroism, foolhardiness, and danger of America's Wild West. The scenery along the South Klondike Highway takes your breath away as your amicable tour guide leads you towards the Alaskan and Canadian Borders - past deep gorges, icy waterfalls, ancient glaciers, and the awe-inspiring mountains. Follow the trail feverish gold miners took back in 1898 in order to gild their pockets with that deep lustrous yellow gold dust.

At the Summit, the fabled words "There's gold in the Yukon!" still echo back from the hills as you pass through the Tormented Valley, a frozen marsh filled with thousands of small ponds which sunk the true Sourdoughs deep into depression as they hauled their one ton of goods ever northward towards Dawson City. Then pass by the Chilkoot Trailhead, a National Historic Site of Canada, and venture along the shores of scenic Lake Tutshi, and Taggish Lake until Caribou Crossing where we will stop for lunch.  After lunch and a visit to the Wildlife Museum, we will make a final stop at Emerald Lake, the most beautiful lake of Canada's Yoho National Park in British Columbia.
